Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, April's upbringing was steeped in a rich tapestry of African-American culture, spirituality, and history. Her passion for art and her deep connection to her cultural heritage served as the driving force behind her groundbreaking adult coloring book, "Biblical Black Love."

 

April's journey as an author and artist began as a personal quest to explore her own cultural identity and spirituality.
